That gig was a fucking sauna. I remember the strong irony of the backdrop being ice, while there was 40 degrees in the arena.

It was insane, with people bouncing up and down everywhere.

My wife and I had a nice conversation with some local fans in town before the gig. They were really surprised we had travelled all the way from the UK to see Maiden and we told them it was an excellent opportunity to discover other countries (the gig was the perfect excuse to see some parts of Croatia and Slovenia).

I'm trying to see if the money fits for the Sweden Rock Festival next year. I wasn't planning on going and seeing it as it looks to be a 1:1 copy of last year's - but Savatage the same day has me very interested.

13 times starting in 1981. Only tour where I have seen them more than once was the TBOS tour, but different years. Would liked to have gone to more shows but I don't really travel and there was a 14 year gap between shows in Atlanta. But for the last few tours I've been forced to go Charlotte or Florida. Alas I'll be going to Charlotte again this year (hopefully). Even if I can only get a lawn ticket.

Not sure why Atlanta gets overlooked so - on the the LOTB tour in Atlanta Bruce even remarked how good the crowd was.

The only tour I have seen more than one show of was Legacy of the Beast. However the 2022 setlist was different. I wanted to see the new Senjutsu songs. I also really wanted to see SOTC and Icarus again.
