An album tour is going to be a completely new thing for me. I've never actually seen Maiden indoors. Depending where and when I might try to get to two shows (say Manchester and London?), do the standing thing for one and the seating for the other. I shall make sure my FC membership is topped up in anticipation of any presales.

^ That is one of the advantages to being a member. Pre sales always help. first to the barrier drawings are awesome too

You're nearer Glasgow, are you not? ;)

Twice

1999 Ed Huntour
2003 Death on the Road ( well yes I'm somewhere on that live record)

5 times
Ljubljana 2007
Belgrade 2009 (best show showed their "human side")
Cordipo 2010
Imola 2011
Zagreb 2013

10 times, and similar to Forostar, each was a different tour.

2012: Maiden England
2010: TFF leg 1
2008: Somewhere Back in Time
2003: Give 'em Ed...'til I'm Dead! (warm up tour for Dance of Death that premiered "Wildest Dreams"; also 20th anniversary of Piece of Mind hence played three songs in a row from POM
2000: BNW
1999: Ed Huntour (reunion tour)
1996: TXF (Blaze was Amazing!)
1991: NPFTD (1st time to finally see several songs played live from side 4 of LAD)
1988: SSOASS (yes I saw the original tour...and the anniversary tour Maiden England)
1987: SIT

This is a link to my setlists.fm page that shows every song I have seen Maiden play and how many times I have seen them play that song: http://www.setlist.fm/songs/Terrell39?artist=3bd6803c

Have my fingers crossed when the announce the US dates for BOS tour, Texas will be included. If not, I will be traveling! Not going to miss it (like I did on the AMOLAD tour....really regret missing that one)

6 Times, should be at least 8 or 9, the regrets from those missed gigs are deep, man!

1. x Factour 1996, Belfast. Half full leisure centre. My second ever gig, 12 yrs old. Loved it!

2. Brave New World Tour 2001, RiR warm up in Shepards Bush Empire, LOndon. Amazing gig, I shed a tear when H ripped out the opening riff to Wicker Man. This was the culmination of 12 years of adoring Maiden, I feared I would never get to see this after Bruce left so this blew my mind. Small venue too. The intro CD for SOTC started skipping, Eddie got stuck between the amps and the stage wall and Bruce got stuck halfway up a wall during Hallowed, I think security had to help him down! Great night.

3. Eddie Rips Up Europe, Dublin 2005. Straight off the plane and to the gig after a week in Amsterdam.

4. AMOLAD, 2006. A guy got chucked out for holding up a banner sayin 'Trivium are Shite' when Trivium came on. Harsh. Sweet Savage supported, a mate of mine was drumming for them at the time and got to meet Maiden. He said Jan was the best craic. Always knew it...

5. Knebworth, 2010. What a festival and Pendulum were a great warm up to Maiden.

6. Final Frontier, Belfast, 2011. Buckfast in the car park before the show. Classy.

BIG REGRETS

1993 Real Live Tour, Belfast. I was 10, I wasn't allowed to go. My mother has never been forgiven.

2003 DOD Dublin. Didn't even know it was on, I was a poor and drunken student at the time and I was having a lull in my Maideness, which is strange as I got the single and album the day they came out. Shame on me. I met a mate who was on his way to the train to go to the gig, I nearly punched myself in the face when he told me it was on.

2008/9 Somewhere Back In Time. Out of the country and Maiden didn't play where I was. And only 1 UK gig. Fuck you Maiden!

2013/4 Maiden England. Money issues. Terrible excuse. Once again, Shame on me.

I have seen them 4 times in Sweden:

2011: Ullevi Stadium, Gothenburg

My favourite concert was propably the one in 2013. I liked that they closed the roof in the arena, which created a different atmosphere.

The bootleg from that show is one of my favourites!

Still just four. Download 2013, Sonisphere 2014, Download 2016, Oslo 2016. I hope to get Manchester at the very least in 2017

hope I'm counting correctly. basically everytime they came round since the x-factour (didn't see them touring VXI though...)
so that would be:
x-factour, bnw, early days, dance of death, somewhere back in time, amolad, final frontier, maiden england '13 + ' 14, book of souls

so that's 10.

plus bruce solo with balls, skunkworks and chemical.
