Any one that knows me in person will know I would never consider golf as anything more than something I might consider as something to do as a laugh once in a while. Yes, I have a set of clubs but they have not been used for a few years. Team sports is more my thing.
As I said, I like they way you came to this - considering you have not heard of him before. Good work.
Trivia: in his later years, he became a rector in my home county (although he was a Manc) and there still is a stained glass window in his old parish.
