Anthrax cancelled EU dates, due To 'Out-Of-Control' Costs And 'Logistical Issues.

Wonder if ti because of current situation or low tickets sales

Here’s another band who had to do something similar. In their case things are even worse due to Brexit (Thanks Bruce et al.!).

I’m sure they will tour with Pantera in US because Benante and they’ll even be the support band. Sad.
6 years without release an studio album… it’s too much for a band like them. They’re only looking for making easy money doing live gigs thanks to their past.
Anthrax indeed live basically on their past, and in that means they are somehow a dead band just like for examplen Uriah Heep. They nowadays have nothing to do what they once were, and wherever they play today it's folklore and background music for beer drinkers.

Uriah Heep have released as many new studio albums in the last decade as Maiden and Living the Dream is miles better than some of Maiden’s recent output.

Anthrax have not been that prolific though; they have only released a couple of new studio albums since 2011 instead of Maiden’s outstanding track record of 3 albums in the same period.

I disagree Uriah Heep was a fantastic band in the 70’s they have very good stuff in the 80’s and 90’s and even the last decade. They’re still making very good music each 2 years. Obviously they have lost a lot of their audience and popularity but they’re still selling good amount of tickets in Uk, and part of Europe. Everybody knows their name and their music.
They have been a big band in the 70’s Anthrax never been IMHO
I wish that the Uriah Heep / Judas Priest played in my country because I would be more interested to see Uriah Heep than Priest. I would enjoy a lot to be honest.

Anthrax have a couple of good albums in the mid 80. No more. They had the luck to sign with John Zazulla and his wife and they could offered support to big band like Maiden, play at Donnington and gain audience but they fell quickly after that because they had nothing to offer. I listens all their discography and after Persistence of Time the rest sucks.

Anthrax are a great band (and they were impressive when I saw them supporting Maiden in 2013).
They have a couple of good songs from the last 2 albums. They play very well and playing their hits are amazing, yes and the most part of that is thanks to Joe Belladona. He can still singing amazing. If not they would still playing nu metal.

Oh come on. Joey is fine, but I am team Zetro. And Chuck Billy. Also Uriah Heep are releasing new music on a steady basis and I liked their latest albums. I mean OK, it's not at Look at your self or the Magicians birthday level, but that would be pretty darn difficult to achieve anyway.

Anthrax for this tour had to bring solid names of US metal scene to sell more tickets on their US.

I am sure that main reason for cancelling EU tour is low tickets sell. And these venues...Alestorm are playing bigger venues than them i EU.

Alestorm are playing clubs in Greece
I belive this year they visited Greece for the first time so maybe that is a reason.

I did not check all dates, but in some countires they are playing same or bigger venues. And what I can see from pictures, their shows are always sold out.
