Hints collection thread for 2023

Remember, it might very well be bit of a trolling. I remain very doubtful when it comes to any SiT stuff, let alone anything specifically Somehwhere in Time centred for next year, besides a couple of potential setlist picks; namely Wasted Years (maybe HCW, but I doubt it) and Stranger in a Strange Land, and well... Alexander, as much as I still doubt it's going to be played, haha. But at least it's bit of a shared meme between the band and the fans. :)

However, I can see the possibility of the next tour being branded as something like "The Time Machine" or whatever, which justifies proper Senjutsu coverage and offers leverage to include a good doze of classics, including a handful of rarities too, with 1-2 cuts from the past three decades. Given how TBOS and LOTB tours have given quite an extensive coverage for the TNOTB, POM and Powerslave stuff, I think it's still very plausible that one or two interesting Somewhere in Time and/or Seventh Son cuts will make it to the set as the usual "surprises" we have, to be fair, gotten in almost every set. I hope for The Prisoner too, but guessing/wishing individual songs isn't my point now.

Altogether ... I wouldn't hold my breath, but you know, with LOTB already being free from the History of Maiden brand and COVID messing up a few years of their pre-planning for these years, we can definitely see the album tour/hits tour cycle being... not broken, you know, but blending together through something... not exactly like, but something like the thematic & stage set sequences of the LOTB show.

Of course this is just wild speculation from my part.

Well, now we have...

I'd say that someone is definitely having fun with all this... :) Check the posts and especially accounts that are followed...
Remember, it doesn't exactly mean anything - I think it's more about someone having a lot of fun with the ongoing speculation, rather than hinting, indicating or confirming anything that's about to happen. Might very well be a fellow-fan just trolling... ;)
Well now I definetly need a Doctor...but very very good!!! :help2:

A whole tour around SIT, no but a couple of songs from the album - it's very possible. Your example of the coverage of TNOTB, POM and Powerslave stuff over the last 2 tours is spot ot.

I still think the tour will be named after the album, but the merging of 2 tours is really possible now (since the History tours were interrupted, plus they lost 2 years) and the two albums have some things in common. Maybe they like the idea of LOTB with the realms/worlds a lot and we could see something similar for next year too (''Time'' realm and some changes to the stage set with songs like The Time Machine, Wasted Years, Days Of Future Past, Stranger In A Strange Land). If they do that then a new album in 2024/2025 is possible, I'd say.

To be honest, the biggest surprise would be if Maiden do a tour with rarely played songs.

Do they? Ah, well, they do, but you could say the same about a pair of any Maiden albums, pretty much. I don't think there's that much of a connection, but of course, if someone wants to, thematic links can be forg(/c)ed by a handful of individual songs, of course.

Something like that is definitely possible, yeah! However, I'd put my money on something like part of the set having the "constructed" Japanese/Senjutsu/ancient stuff setting and then something slightly more abstract underneath, but probably nothing as specific, really. I think "time" is too vague of a theme anyway, hehe!

That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing a TBOS level production around the visual world of Senjutsu.

I think you may be right about many things. It's true are speculations, rumors but Maiden are thinking...something strange about 23, perhaps totally unexpected. There are too many clues and this temporal union between Somewhere and Senjutsu has always intrigued me a lot. Greetings

What if...
the band claimed many times that they are not happy that Somewhere On Tour was not recorded on video.... What if they decided to correct this error :scared: Will recreate stage set and will play the songs from SIT album. WTF is going on, I truly hope that Twitter account is legit, not trolling.

Just a theory, but I think this guy is doing some trolling since he got his smartphone given to him by the band's management three years ago. ;)

He is Dan D GR8, the chosen one, s(o)it shall be written, s(o)it shall be done. :D

Why Dan tho? Book of Daniel isn't related to SiT at all. Someone made the account after speculation began by plagiarizing bels_feast (which didn't have daniel in the url btw). Also on this account clues aren't even clues they are like "the loneliness of the long distance runner, amirite?"

Because they used this Daniel account to tease the release of 'Senjutsu'. So, maybe they wanted to use the same kind of account on Tweeter to tease the SIT/Senjutsu tour. ;) The artwork of the Battle Of Paris' bootleg 1986 shows a battle between SIT Eddie and a Samouraï. That could match with a real SIT/Senjutsu tour. :p
