Can't wait for both new Helloween and Gamma Ray albums. It has been a while since the release of GR's 'Empire Of The Undead', and the sharp and agressive riffs of Kai Hansen on GR records, I miss them a lot.

Is any work actually happening on a new Gamma Ray album? It's been 10 years since their last one, and half the band members went off and made multiple other albums in the meantime. Seems like Kai is totally focused on the money maker right now, which is the kitchen sink version of Helloween. I assumed Gamma Ray was dead in the water.

Fake news, confirmed by the band. Sad!
They have a couple of shows left this year, with Blind Guardian. But it's not the same because Kai is not singing, Henjo is injured and is skipping the tour and Dan left ~15 years ago.

I'm discovering this information only today...
I didn't know that... 
It's really sad that Kai Hansen is not involved with the singing in Gamma Ray nowadays... But, what is the reason why he left the microphone ?
His voice is shot due to smoking, he can't sing the entire concert anymore.

I always preferred Gamma Ray even tho i love early Helloween, i hope there will be new material soon.
