Really? The last two have been very run of the mill. They haven't changed much over the years and the formula is getting worn out.

Because the last two/three were not so good, I think it's time for a very good album.

They always release a great anthemic singles (like on the last 2 albums), so I think this new single should be worth it.

I kinda stopped liking HammerFall at their fifth album.

I got as far as their seventh ('No Sacrifice, No Victory') and started to lose interest at their next ('Infected'). They are still a fun band to listen to and I will still go to see them live, but they're the sort of band that is great when you're a teenager before growing out of them. There are only so many different ways you can work the words "steel", "fire", "legion", "dragon", "templar" and "heart" into a song.

The debut album is great, but to say that it's better than Crimson Thunder is nonsense - that album has no fillers!

Hammerfall is as Helloween clone as they come. Last album I got was Infected. To me, their zenith was Unbent, Unbound, Unbroken. Based on Game of Thrones before it was cool. Yet, the one I go back to the most is Renegade.
