Guess The Iron Maiden Song!

The longest day
Correct!

Clue #1:
Midhaven's "Primal Song" was released to coincide with the summer solstice, which is the longest day of the year.

Clue #2: 6, +15, +2 - 6 + 15 = 21, and 21 + 2 = 23. Put those three numbers together and you get 6/21/23, the date of the next summer solstice in the northern hemisphere, the longest day of the year. (Apologies to people who order their dates differently.)

Clue #3: June in Canada, December in Australia - The month in which the summer solstice occurs in each country. Again, the summer solstice is the longest day of the year.

Clue #4:

"Sliding we go..."

Clue #5:
"The Land Of The Midnight Sun" refers to the lands above the Arctic Circle, where during the summer the sun never actually sets, which leads to the longest day of all.

Clue #6: In our solar system, Venus has this - The length of the Venusian day is 243 Earth days, the longest day of any planet in the solar system. (It's actually longer than the Venusian year, which is only 225 Earth days.)

Clue #7: Where is our John Wayne? - Starring in the movie The Longest Day from 1962.

Clue #8: Easy Rider - I actually messed up this clue, as I was trying to reference Henry Fonda who was another star of The Longest Day from 1962, but I brainfarted and cited his son Peter instead. Oops!

Clue #9: Cape Fear (1962) - A movie starring Robert Mitchum, another star of The Longest Day from 1962.

Clue #10: The mystery song shares a title and theme with a movie from the 20th century - As previously cited, The Longest Day, a movie about the Normandy invasion of WWII, came out in 1962.
