(Also, Harrelson’s real life father was apparently a hitman for the mob, which is thematically appropriate.)

Lance Henriksen as Emil Fouchon in Hard Target. His character was a wealthy sportsman who conned homeless vets into being hunted to the death by his clients who wanted more challenging prey. He was ultimately put in a situation where he was both the hunter and the hunted, so he was also a reference to the lyrics “pay to kill, die to lose, hunter, hunted, which are you”.
