I can give it a shot.
Clue #1: Déjà Vu... Sort of. (Sounds like we've heard a similar lyric before) - No idea, really, unless you’re talking about “tell you a thing that you ought to know” in reference to “hey, girl, I got something I think you ought to know” from “Communication Breakdown”…?
Clue #2: 120" (The clue is, like, RIGHT THERE) - A reference to the lyric “two minutes of your time”. (120 seconds = 2 minutes)
Clue #3: Call Of Duty: Warzone (A gameplay element found in said game is referenced) - No idea, I’m guessing “men all dressed in black” refers to something in the game…?
Clue #4: Heaven Can Wait (The strike-through in this text should guide you) - A reference to the lyric “not coming back”, i.e. heaven can’t wait.
Clue #5: Megadeth got it wrong...? (This refers to one of their songs) - Not sure, unless “sent off to the war to play little games” is being contrasted with “killing is my business”…?
Clue #6: The Unbeliever (This should be a dead giveaway) - Other than references to paranoia in this song maybe tying in to “some strange yellow gas has played with their minds”, I’m not sure.
Clue #7: Game Of Thrones (Again, a reference to one element in this show) - Uh, members of House Dragen have red eyes, in reference to “has reddened their eyes”, maybe? That’s what a Google search told me, though I don’t actually remember that element from the show.
Clue #8: No More Lies (Can't really explain this one, as I said it's related to the lyrics) - A reference to the lyric “removed all the lies”.
Clue #9: The Doomsday Clock (what is this clock about?) - A reference to the lyrics “death knows no bounds / how many get well / only time will tell”…?
Clue #10: What's left now, in The Aftermath? (the answer is in the song's meaning) - I dunno, maybe “comrades dead or dying lie” referencing “you lie in your death bed now”, and “who will take the blame?” from the former…?
Clue #11: This song has been played live. - All AMOLAD songs were played live on the first part of that tour.
Clue #12: All clues are related to the lyrics of the song in question. - Yup.
Clue #13: This song is neither a DiAnno nor a Blaze song. - Surprise, it’s a Bruce song.
Clue #14: This song could be relevant in this time for Iron Maiden. - “Legacy” o’ the Beast tour.
I’ll need to think up some clues and post later.
Here's the explanation to all the clues:
Clue #1: Déjà Vu... Sort of. (Sounds like we've heard a similar lyric before)
---> This refers to the opening of the song "tell you a thing", which is a similar opening to Breeg "let me tell you about my life", also The Time Machine "have I ever told you", and even Dance Of Death "let me tell you a story".
Clue #2: 120" (The clue is, like, RIGHT THERE)
---> Indeed, this is a reference to the lyric "two minutes of your time"
Clue #3: Call Of Duty: Warzone (A gameplay element found in said game is referenced)
---> This is a reference to "some strange yellow gas has played with their minds". In Warzone, which is a Battle Royale game, players fight against each other in a continuously shrinking map to be the last player remaining. The playable area shrinks, and the non-playable areas become contaminated with a yellow gas that depletes health and eventually kills the player.
Clue #4:
Heaven Can Wait (The strike-through in this text should guide you)
---> This was actually about "you lie in your death bed now", meaning the character in the song will die soon.
Clue #5: Megadeth got it wrong...? (This refers to one of their songs)
---> "To the prayer of holy peace", instead of Holy Wars.
Clue #6: The Unbeliever (This should be a dead giveaway)
---> "Nothing that we could believe"
Clue #7: Game Of Thrones (Again, a reference to one element in this show)
---> "To reveal the façade of Faceless Men" - The Faceless Men are an important element of this show's story.
Clue #8: No More Lies (Can't really explain this one, as I said it's related to the lyrics)
---> "You had us all strung out with promises of peace, but all along your cover plan was to deceive".
Clue #9: The Doomsday Clock (what is this clock about?)
---> "And some that would say Armageddon is near". The Doomsday Clock is a symbol of how close mankind is to a catastrophe, an apocalypse, an Armageddon some would say.
Clue #10: What's left now, in The Aftermath? (the answer is in the song's meaning)
---> Only the corpses are left. Typically what remains after a war.
Clue #11: This song has been played live.
---> During the AMOLAD Tour.
Clue #12: All clues are related to the lyrics of the song in question.
---> As explained above.
Clue #13: This song is neither a DiAnno nor a Blaze song.
---> Self-explanatory.
Clue #14: This song could be relevant in this time for Iron Maiden.
---> It's the Legacy of the Beast tour, after all!
Congrats, Jer!
