Clue 2:

A line from the song's lyrics makes a pledge that can be seen on display on the cover art of two Maiden albums.

Clue 3:
In the lyrics you will find the name of a band who has both opened for and covered Maiden, the name of a documentary set in the U.S made by one of Europe's most influential filmmakers, and the name of a huge multinational company with one of the most recognizable logos in the world. The previous name of this company points to a country where Maiden recorded for the studio album that followed the album the song in question is taken from.

These guesses are burned and black: Only the good Die Young, Be Quick or Be Dead, Virus

Caught Somewhere In Time ?

Because of the verse :

"If you had the time to lose
An open mind and time to choose
Would you care to take a look
Or can you read me like a book
"

And we know Maiden has released an album called The Book Of Souls and a live record called The Book Of Souls - The Live Chapter. So, we can read Iron Maiden like a book...

Without the indication that the song hasn't been released on a single, I'd say "Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter", just because of the band Humble Pie.

BUT I'll say :

If Eternity Should Fail

This song started as a continuation of a song on the previous album, a fact which is perhaps not obvious for the casual listener. However, there is a more obvious similarity linking the two songs.

The Book Of Souls.

Exodus was opening for Maiden in Chile in 2011. So, it could fits the clue #3. Plus, TBOS can be heard on the eponymous album and on The Live Chapter...

But, I don't see the link with the clue #5.

The clue #6 is clear and we can see similarities between acoustic intros of The Talisman and of The Book Of Souls, both created by Janick Gers...

The clue #2 could refer to the artworks of The Book Of Souls and Senjutsu, both created by Mark Wilkinson. The pledge could be the fact to be minimalistic while creating those two covers.

Good thinking, but it's not the correct song, as you allude to regarding clue #5. I can't think of any cover versions of TBOS
