Somewhere In Time (ATG feels a little out of place) (...) To Tame A Land is best enjoyed outside the context of the album.
Now this one I can relate to a certain point: I always thought To Tame A Land was the perfect closer for SIT while Alexander The Great would be way more in context if it was part of a more traditional sounding Maiden album (even taking in account it has synths).

So, yes, it's a highly personal thing, and most of you probably have better attention spans than I do.
Wait until you grow up a little bit. This isn't a "you are too young thing" this is a "my attention span was not very good when I was a teen either thing".

Amorphis wins in extra time. The Swedes are back in League 7.
Opeth barely holds on for the extra time win. The Finns are back in League 4.

League 10: Defeated Municipal Waste - The Art of Partying 15-8.

By now I'm left wondering how many more Primordial albums have you elected :p. I've already noticed To The Nameless Fallen is entering the game in the near future and something tells me it does so thanks to you.
Only those two just gone, To The Nameless Dead and Where Greater Men Have Fallen are Perun's nominations.

Avenged Sevenfold - Drum intro rips off Ozzy's Over the Mountain, verse isn't great, pre-chorus is okay and catchy as is the chorus. Breakdown part is shite, solo pretty good, nice chord sequence after the solo. It doesn't click with me for similar reasons as their last album in the game didn't, some parts are decent and other parts aren't and the dissimilar parts don't really gel together

Power Trip - opinion given before

Power Trip with the win, the longer the game has gone on the more this has grown on me, I'll probably pick it up.

Satyricon - Drums sound like they are accidental overspill from the band in the studio beside them who are playing a much faster song, vocal bad, guitar, bass and choir noises aren't bad though. Sounds a bit better when the drummer get's into the same groove as the rest of the band. There's a verse that sounds like Lemmy on March or Die which isn't bad.

Atlantean Kodex - opinion given before

Atlantean Kodex with the win

AC/DC - The first AC/DC album that is the blueprint for most of their following albums, a huge big hit with the rest of the tracks average at best. In fairness, the other tracks are more solid than what's on a lot of later albums. The title track is fantastic though, one of Heavy Metal's great live experiences.

Megadeth - opinion given before.

I reckon these are a fairly similar standard album in terms of quality in the respective discographies of both bands, I'm going with AC/DC as For Those About to Rock is much more iconic than anything on KIMB.

Devin Townsend - sounds like foo fighters, too overproduced to hold my interest, why is their 3 minutes of silence at the end? Is that a youtube fuck up or is the real album like that?

Buckethead - opinion given before

Devin Townsend with the win

I reckon I should've picked one of the more unorthodox songs on Nightmare instead of a radio single. Well, maybe next time...

Power Trip with the win, the longer the game has gone on the more this has grown on me, I'll probably pick it up.

It will do that to you.

I was pretty dismissive of it the first time I first heard Nightmare Logic. A few months later I found myself coming back to it. Then I saw them live a couple times. Then I nominated it for this game.

I gotta vote for Devin just for the sheer absurdity of the album title and cover. And when your “sheer absurdity” quotient is higher than a guy who wears a fried chicken container on his head, that’s sayin’ something.

Also, Power Trip still rulz.

Voting early as I will be away this weekend.

Avenged Sevenfold is more my speed than Power Trip.
Codex is one of my top bands, easy pick.
This is one of my favourite AC/DC albums + Megadave exhaustion.
Devin Townsend has an interesting if often quirky record that I find more interesting and quirky than the Buckethead offering.

AC/DC - The first AC/DC album that is the blueprint for most of their following albums, a huge big hit with the rest of the tracks average at best.
I respectfully disagree—not that later albums follow this blueprint, they often do, but that “For Those” does too. Evil Walks and Night of the Long Knives are standouts.
