General Iron Maiden discussion

Look at the highlights in his hair! Very much of the time

£25 million is pretty sweet. Was that each or split between all the members?

God, BNW is such a good album!

Bruce says they got twenty-five million before doing BNW :

Who the fuck did that horrendous AI upscale job on that? It looks like shit! It's like Bruce is made out of wax or something, he's so smooth and has highlights on him. Not to mention taking a perfectly good video and cropping most of the fucking frame out so you can repost it as a short.

Welcome to the state of YouTube/the internet in 2025. It fucking sucks.

Another thing I hate: Youtube now forces horrendous AI auto-translations on their videos. I'm in Germany, so every non-German video gets translated with this horrible robotic voice and I despise this so much. At least there are extensions to deactivate that on PC, but I can't do the same thing on my phone unfortunately. Sometimes you can turn it off in the settings if you're logged in, but I never log in to YT if not absolutely necessary. It's infuriating.

Just wanted to know which Maiden song(s) is/are easy to play on guitar, for an absolute beginner?
The first track I was able to play all the way through was actually If Eternity Should Fail, pretty simple song, maybe because Bruce composed the guitar parts on the demo himself. The Clairvoyant is also pretty straightforward and contains a mid-paced gallop which you can use to build speed for faster gallop-based songs. Stranger in a Strange Land has a nice steady tempo as well so comes together quite easily.
