I don't think stating this is a spoiler (?) but my favorite setlist is hands-down Legacy of the Beast.

The next two? I'm going with The X Factour and Somewhere Back In Time.

My main issue with IM tours is that other than AMOLAD's they've never played the full albums live. Which is why STOAST isn't my favorite and WST isn't either. TXF found a pretty nice balance all told, though.

I get what you're saying. Seventh Son, Powerslave and The Book of Souls are 3 I would love to have seen live in full.

I've got Somewhere on Tour, Somewhere Back in Time and The Book 0f Souls.

Somewhere on Tour was great with the returns of Where Eagles Dare, Children of the Damned and Phantom of the Opera. The retaining of Rime in the setlist was also pretty cool.

Somewhere Back in Time's a great representation of Maiden from their 80s heyday. Not sure which set I'd prefer in all honesty, 2008 or 2009's.

The Book of Souls I felt did a great job in selecting the 'relics' to balance out the new material. Powerslave fit perfectly with the theming of the tour and was a highlight for me. It was pretty neat to see them stray away from the more obvious classics unlike what they pulled out for The Final Frontier's 2011 tour. Also not sure which set I preferred more, 2016 or 2017's.

Yes. They did songs from the entire catalog sans NPFTD

TBOS was another tour that I was debating on. Probably would've been my fourth choice.

Somewhere on Tour....

Caught Somewhere in Time
The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner
Children of the Damned
2 Minutes to Midnight
Sea of Madness
Wasted Years
Stranger in a Strange Land
Where Eagles Dare
Phantom of the Opera
Flight of Icarus
Hallowed be thy Name
Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Running Free

on one tour...….

nothing like that ever seen since or before IMO... World Slavery and Brave New World tour were close

With Distance Runner in it, yes!

When it comes to one show setlists I vote for VXI for that first show they did on that tour. 3 hours long!

This would be the goddamn best.

In Budapest 1998 they played a similarly small or even smaller venue. The story behind it, that the show supposed to be held at the Petofi Hall (capacity of 3000), but the organiser of the concert, didn't booked the venue in time. It was a last minute decision that they moved the show to E-Klub (capacity of 250). So yeah, hundreds of people stuck outside with valid tickets. Maiden was nice enough, to meet all fans outside before and after the concert, but they could not play to everyone.

I'll go with Somewhere back in time tour. I however never understood why FOTD and Iron Maiden have to be included in EVERY damn show.

Early Days is the only one without FOTD after it was released I think!
