Ah yes, the three slightly overlooked (I wouldn't say underrated as nothing on NotB can really be considered so) gems of the golden era.

The Prisoner is a top 5 song for me for sure.

Have you guys seen when Bruce performed it with Skunkworks? That was a sweet version!

Right now I would answer

Ghost of the Navigator - Brave New World - Blood Brothers.

It could well change tomorrow. Any combo taken from the last 5 on SSOASS, as well as the last three on Powerslave, first three on SiT and several others already mentioned are great. Still, the three mentioned are all among my favourite past-2000 songs. All three songs were also great live. No, wait. Blood Brothers was not great. It was magic.
 
i feel compelled to post, a bit of a bump but cant be having the worst topic without a balance with the good or someone might think of us as being negative  :bigsmile:
for me its got to be Isle of Avalon - Starblind - The Talisman, from the first listen through to now these are still my clear favourites of TFF and very high in my maiden catalogue.
The only trio coming close is FTGGOG - Lord o Light - Legacy but itd have more of achance for me if FTGGOG and TROBB swapped places
 
Tough choice, but I'm going with For the Greater Good of God, Lord of Light, and the Legacy. Ask me tomorrow and I`ll probably give a different answer...
 
I've narrowed down my choice to these three:

Where Eagles Dare >>> Revelations >>> Flight of Icarus
Children of the Damned >>> The Prisoner >>> 22 Acacia Avenue

It's a difficult choice, but I'm leaning towards the trio from PoM.

Honourable mention to the first three from AMOLAD

Probably The Alchemist, Isle of Avalon, Starblind.  At least by how I plan to rate them in the daily songs, that's probably the highest score of three consecutive songs.  Honorary mention to The Wicker Man, Ghost of the Navigator, Brave New World and Caught Somewhere in Time, Wasted Years, Sea of Madness.

This is certainly a strong combination. I rate them second, maybe even a shared 1st place with my earlier choice.

I actually I can say I like

Satellite 15... Final Frontier/El Dorado/Mother of Mercy very much

but if we talk about the old albums, it's definitely

Caught somewhere in time/wasted years/sea of madness

Finally, someone with the good taste to recognize those 3 for the quality tracks they are. I was just defending this trio on the sister conversation, Worst 3 consecutive songs.
