favourite 3 consecutive songs?

I see the ghost of navigators.
What would be your favourite 3 consecutive songs off any Maiden album? (and they have to be off the same album, otherwise I'd go Powerslave, Rime and Caught Somewhere In Time).

A couple of Honorable Mentions first -
- Caught Somewhere In Time / Wasted Years / Sea of Madness, the first is my favourite song on the entire planet, the middle is a strong song, and the latter is one that I'm really rocking out to in the recent months.
- The Evil That Men Do / SSoaSS / The Prophecy, similar reasons to the above SiT songs above. An epic in SSoaSS with very good songs surrounding it that I'm also getting more into.

But I have to choose Back in the Village / Powerslave / Rime. 2 absolute epic songs and a very solid (not filler!) song before it.

There are more, of course, but the first that came to mind is Be Quick Or Be Dead, From Here To Eternity, Afraid To Shoot Strangers.

Cool thread idea!

My favorites-

Phantom of the Opera/Transylvania/Strange World
Where Eagles Dare/Revelations/Flight of Icarus
The Evil That Men Do/Seventh Son/The Prophecy
The Wicker Man/Ghost of the Navigator/Brave New World
For the Greater Good of God/Lord of Light/The Legacy

Back In The Village >>> Powerslave >>> Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
Where Eagles Dare >>> Revelations >>> Flight Of Icarus
Isle Of Avalon >>> Starblind  >>> The Talisman
Caught Somewhere In Time >>> Wasted Years >>> Sea Of Madness
The Longest Day  >>> Out Of The Shadows  >>>  The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg

My favourites:
Back In The Village/Powerslave/Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
Wickerman/Ghost Of The Navigator/Brave New World
Ghost Of The Navigator/Brave New World/Blood Brothers
Different World/These Colours Don't Run/Brighter Than Thousand Suns
Brighter Than Thousand Suns/Pilgrim/Longest Day
For The Greater Good Of God/Lord Of Light/Legacy
and out of those trios my current is Ghost Of The Navigator/Brave New World/Blood Brothers, with Powerslave trio narroly second

Ai there are many candidates, esp. on the debut album, Piece of Mind, Brave New World and AMOLAD.
But in the end I'll pick this combo:

Caught Somewhere In Time / Wasted Years / Sea of Madness

Hard to beat.

I could have gone for Innocent Exile, Killers, Prodigal Son (may've won if Purgatory was before Prodigal Son on the album). Or The Prisoner, 22 Acacia Avenue, TNOTB. Or Back in the Village, Powerslave, ROTAM. Or Can I Play With Madness, The Evil That Men Do, 7th Son of a 7th Son. Or....well you get the idea. So many to chose from but I reckon the winner would be

Die With Your Boots On, The Trooper, Still Life. 3 superb songs that I always loved, even when I was younger and PoM was one of my least preferred Maiden albums.

For The Greater Good Of God / Lord Of Light / The Legacy

and

Ghost Of The Navigator / Brave New World / Blood Brothers

Although there's a whole heap of good ones to choose from.

stranger in a strange world / deja vu / alexander the great
ghost of the navigator / brave new world / blood brothers
for the greater good of god / lord of light / the legacy
Phantom of the opera / transylvania / strange world
the edge of darkness / 2am / the unbeliever

Echoing Fatboy:

Die With Your Boots On, The Trooper, Still Life

But I will give The X Factor some credit, kicking off the Blaze era with Sign of the Cross, Lord of the Flies, and Man on the Edge (literally something for everybody, if they could stop being butthurt about Bruce being gone) is pretty damn strong, and yet somehow it didn't quite work out. Damn shame.

Back in the Village - Powerslave - Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Die With Your Boots On - The Trooper - Still Life
Isle of Avalon - Starblind - The Talisman

If you ask me now I'd say: Isle Of Avalon - Starblind - The Talisman or The Talisman - The Man Who WOuld Be King - When the Wild Wind Blows, one of Mainde's strongest till this day imo, still not sure which is strongest lol.

Others strong 3 consecutive songs:

Back in the Village - Powerslave - Rime of The Ancient Mariner
Caught Somewhere in Time - Wasted Years - Sea of Madness
The Nomad - Out of the Silent Planet - The Thin line Between Love and Hate
New Frontier - Paschendale - Face in the Sand
For the Greater Good of God - Lord of Light - The Legacy

Almost every album has 3 great consecutive songs imo, but now I'd chose a trio from TFF.

Children of the Damned - The Prisoner - 22 Acacia Avenue

Classics all of them. CotD and 22AA are both top 10 Maiden songs for me..
