What are your top 5 favorite non-album Iron Maiden songs/covers (single only songs and b sides), including those that were added to the albums later, like Total Eclipse and Twilight Zone?

My top 5 is:

5. I've Got the Fire
4. Justice of the Peace
3. Sanctuary
2. Total Eclipse
1. Burning Ambition

Is there a complete list of these easily available for those of us who are too lazy? :p

Thanks for the handy list, D11.

Mission From 'Arry stands on its own, but as far as actual songs..

1. Rainbow's Gold
2. I've Got The Fire
3. Sheriff Of Huddersfield
4. Massacre
5. Judgement Day

Thanks for the handy list, D11.
No problem. Also a side note to the above list, I left off Maiden Voyage (EOTC B-side) because it's more of a documentary than a true "track" but kept Mission because it's perfect. :p

My faves I'll post here after I finish my Top 75 because spoilers. ;)

Originals

1. Sanctuary
2. Total Eclipse
3. Twilight Zone
4. Justice of the Peace
5. Invasion

Covers

1. Doctor, Doctor
2. That Girl
3. Massacre
4. I've Got the Fire (Paul's live version)
5. Reach Out

By the way, their cover of "Space Truckin' " was released officially (as opposed to "Tush", for example) though not on an Iron Maiden product as such:

"Rhythm of the Beast " (credited to Murray/McBrain) was released officially too, though only on vinyl as of now, to my knowledge:

Finally, "Walking on Glass" (the guitar solo showcase instrumental played during the Somewhere on Tour) is as much an 'original effort' as "More Tea Vicar" or "Pass the Jam", but it hasn't appeared on any official release as far as I know.

@Forostar - is this true?
Yes. Lira told me this ==> http://forum.maidenfans.com/threads/iron-maiden-members-–-a-rough-overview-of-their-“live-history”.22059/#post-402950
He provided us with that bootleg, o the next page.

Also:
Excellent! I heard it! What a lucky audience, they got one of the longest setlists of the tour!
Did you hear Bruce mentioning that this was the 2nd time they played it, this tour?
He even mentions the first time: Preston!

So it looks like it was done twice (unless done after Newcastle)!

I just changed the opening post.

Thanks for the bootleg! Sounds like the band was on fire indeed. Good atmosphere.
There a real Maiden-Newcastle bond!

Wow that's awesome, didn't realize he shared it.

Actually, if we combine some of the non-album songs that are written by Maiden (without the covers, well, I gonna include only 2 of them* ), then it would be a good album or an EP:

1. Sanctuary
2. Burning Ambition
3. Twilight Zone
4. Invasion
5. Total Eclipse
6. Reach Out
7. Virus
8. Women In Uniform (Skyhooks cover)

+ some other songs like: Justice Of The Peace, I Live My Way, Judgement Day, I've Got The Fire (Montrose cover '83 studio version) | Sheriff Of Huddersfield, Black Bart Blues and Nodding Donkey Blues as a little fun :D

* I included WIU because it has an official video and I'GTF because Maiden played it in the early days up to 1983 ! My favorites are Sanctuary and Reach Out.
