Favorite bands

AC/DC and Maiden play it out for first place for me. 'DC probably just about take it when I listen to LTBR or BIB but Maiden would win in an overall contest. 'DC have just been so second rate for the last 25 years I'm afraid.

Motorhead probably take 3rd spot, closely followed by (in no particular order) Megadeth/Metallica/Anthrax/pre-Armageddon Aerosmith/(Ozzy/Dio-era)Black Sabbath.

This list is just going to include a lot of bands that have meant a lot to me over the years. Also my taste is hyper-eclectic.

1. Devin Townsend
2. Iron Maiden
3. Type O Negative
4. Modest Mouse (Hey now, I'm allowed to like what I like :P)
5. Rush
6. Queens of the Stone Age
7. Judas Priest
8. Dio
9. Strapping Young Lad
10. Bruce Dickinson solo

1. Iron Maiden (by far)
2. Metallica
3. Judas Priest
4. AC/DC
5. Dream Theater
6. Led Zeppelin
7. Deep Purple
8. Bruce Dickinson
9. Black Sabbath
10. Guns N' Roses

This week:

3. Imaad Wassif
4. Dead Meadow
5.Trouble

Weird, I always firgured all Maiden fans hated Iced Earth because they're essentially a faster, shittier, Maiden ripoff.
I love Iced Earth, they are on my top 3 after Maiden and Priest.

Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Dio, Rainbow, Genesis, Phil Collins, Kansas

I've been a bit slow on the uptake, so I don't know many bands, but as of now my favourites are probably

1. Iron Maiden
2. Amon Amarth
3. Equilibrium

but I also like Sabaton, Indica, Blaze Bayley, a bit of David Bowie, a bit of Dark Tranquility, and a bit of Dream Theater.

I have 5 bands that, in my opinion, stand far above the rest, and are inseperable. thus, its in no order

Iron Maiden
Judas Priest
Led Zepplin
Soundgarden
Pantera

each of these has massively infuenced me one way or another, and each is god like in its own right. :shred: :edmetal: :shred:

obviously there are a ton of other bands i love and respect, pretty much anything that aint rap, hip-hop, R&b or dance/techno
