On a different note, Macron's hubris seems to have no limits!

He names Prime Minister a guy from the party that came fourth at the recent elections.
Absolutely shameful behavior by Macron. He'd do anything to not cooperate with the left in any meaningful way.

And who has voted against the decriminalization of homosexuality in 1981... And who is against unemployed people and LGBTIQA+ people...

Macron finally shows his real face ; he is the puppet of far right (nazi) party led by Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella...

Because he's scared about the fact that he and all the millionaires and billionaires he's friend with could lost all their money with the left policies.

The NFP (the movement led by all left-wing parties) wanted to create 14 income tax brackets. It means that the less you earn, the less you pay. Conversely, the more you earn, the more you pay. More explicitly, the poorer you are, the less taxes you would pay. Conversely, the richer you are, the more taxes you would pay. This is the point that does not please Macron, the centrists, people on the right and the far right.

These people led by Macron (and all the right and far right parties) are stingy and greedy.

I kind of feel sorry for Bruxit*: he can only spend 90 days every 180 days in the EU, he gets a Labour government in Britain, and then Macron appoints a conservative Prime Minister in France (“Yay!” screams Bruce)… who happens to be the guy who led the EU Brexit negotiations (“Fuck!” says Bruce).

* No, I don’t. I only feel sorry for my French amis who have to endure such a PM imposed by Macron!

I never would have thought a speech by Scholz of all people would feel cathartic, but there it was.
Yeah, we needed this side of him much earlier. Now it's too little, too late.

For those unaware: Christian Lindner, Germany's finance minister and the leader of the FDP (center right liberal party, the smallest of the three parties in the ruling coalition), was dismissed yesterday night by the chancellor.

The coalition has had issues finding common ground for a long time now and Lindner spent a lot of his time vetoing or sabotaging any meaningful legislation that could effectively deal with a lot of the current problems in Germany. This led to the current government not being able to adequately deal with the various crises we are facing nationally and globally, which in turn leads to resentment and disappointment in the voting populace as well as rising shares in the CDU (conservatives and all but confirmed the next ruling party/coalition partner), the AFD (far right) and the BSW (technically spearheaded by ex-Left party folks, but ideologically mouthpieces of Putin and pretty right wing in their policies).

A vote of confidence will be held in January. The election will be held half a year earlier, in March. While I've been dreading the coming elections due to the right-ward shift, given Trump's victory yesterday it might pay off with having the elections in March. Who knows what damage Trump will have caused by September and if that could lead to even worse numbers in Germany. Furthermore, I'm curious to see if this proactive decision might defuse the polling situation a tiny bit in Germany, since many of the votes for AFD/BSW are due to being disappointed with the Ampel.

Not to mention also more or less a cult devoted to the party leader.
