Covers that are better than the originals... or just covers

Some covers songs I like:

Joe Bonamassa - Had To Cry Today (Blind Faith cover)

Blind Faith has Eric Clapton on guitar but Joe's cover brings a totally fresh energy into the song.

Metallica - Turn The Page (Bob Seger cover)

The original is good enough but Metallics's version is more kind of style.

Killswitch Engage - Holy Diver (Dio Cover)

I, in no way, intend to make a comparison here. I just love how KsE pretty much turned it into their own song with their own twist all over it, plus the video is hilarious.

Avenged Sevenfold - Wish You Were Here (Pink Floyd cover)

I really like how A7X covered one of the most iconic songs. Just my general bias for the band here!

BTW, there is more live cover of this song I like!

Liv Sin feat. Jyrki 69 - Immortal Sin (Fight cover)

One of the most unexpected covers. Absolutely no idea about these guys and the video is for the LOLs but really like the contrasted vocals, downtuned riffs and specially the solo. Fight was Rob Halford's band during the 90s. They released two albums.

Dartagnan are now reaching Alestorm's previously unassailable levels of improbability with their choice of covers:
Good version actually ;)

This trio of young ladies are taking the world by storm. I may be too old to "get it," but the talent is clearly there.
