I voted Beast Over Hammersmith, i really like that artwork.
Although, if that option wasnt there it would have been Killers, without a doubt.

Love the back of S&A but PeW could go down as one of the greatest of all time
I want my big poster back
Dont even know what I did with it...

ESL is the only live album I would choose to give to someone and say, "Heres Rush."
Have I been over here too long??

Prince Edward's Wiener?

Anyway, please stick to Maiden covers, gloryforixseal, as that is what this thread is about.

I think it must be Brave new World, for me it seems to be very variable from other covers ( except from Virtual XI and The X Factor). Honestly, I really like the newer covers because it is more deatailed.

Somewhere in Time is still awesome. I find new cool little things each time I look at it.

Powerslave and Seventh Son come in second.

Powerslave... My favourite artwork on my favourite album. I have a thing for Egyptian themes :)

Somewhere in Time in a close second because it's simply awesome.

A little off topic but has anybody been getting the Iron Maiden Vans (Skate shoes) with the album covers on? The most awesome shoes anybody could wear! I got myself the Killers and Trooper shoes but am desperate for a pair of Powerslaves! Also how awesome would SIT be as the next pair of Vans?

In light of my comment on the new "Final Frontier" thread and the other comments about what may or may not be the new album artwork, I felt inspired to vote in this poll for the first time.  I vote for Killers.

If I had to rank the studio album cover art it would go as follows:

1. Killers
2. Powerslave
3. Piece Of Mind
4. Number Of The Beast
5. Brave New World
6. The X Factor (Hugh Syme is incredible)
7. Virtual XI
8. Somewhere In Time
9. No Prayer For The Dying (the original cover...of the man being strangled)
10. A Matter Of Life & Death
11. Dance Of Death
12. Iron Maiden (really detailed, but not very exciting)
13. Fear Of The Dark (never been a fan of this art)
14. 7th Son Of A 7th Son (cartoonish...sloppy composition...art is flat with little detai)
