My votes:

I can't stand Dire Straits in any form. Love GnR, so easy choice. Patience
I was stoked to see the Foos get a song on the list. Everlong
Third pair is about even for me. I supppose I prefer Touch Me.
This Eagles song makes a good sedative. Rock You Like A Hurricane

The worst and least representative songs from Dire Straits and (classic) GNR in one match, imo.
I disliked the 3rd pair immensely. Liked both the Foo Fighters and Supertramp track. Last pair was the easiest.

Hm, weakest group of songs in the game so far I think.

Guns N' Roses
Foo (barely edges Supertramp. Supertramp is a weird band, a lot of mediocre stuff...but then they've also made brilliant stuff like the album Crime of The Century)
The Doors
Eagles

GnR reliably get on my nerves, so I default to "Money for Nothing".
I really don't like that sludgy 90s alt-rock sound. "Breakfast in America" is catchy and fun, if inconsequential.
Not a great Doors song, and "Train in Vain" is a classic.
"Rock You Like a Hurricane" does not make me scream "turn it off!!!"

I'd forgotten about 'One'. I do like quite a bit of earlier U2 as well as Achtung Baby , just not most of the Joshua Tree/Rattle and Hum era and more recent stuff. Hold Me, Thrill Me etc has a fun video with an animated Fly and Mr Macphisto, Bono's on-stage alter egos from the Zoo TV era. I'm quite fond of Electrical Storm out of their post-Zoo TV music, too.

Three first plus Like A Hurricane.
I'm with Foro on the latter, and One is one of U2's best tracks.

My votes:

Great Petty song, but I've always loved those slow burn U2 ballads. One
Can't stand the Steppenwolf song. Nothing Else Matters
Sex Pistols were shocking, but musically a horrible band. OTOH, G'n'F'n'R. Paradise City
The Neil Young song is good but just goes on too long. Here Comes The Sun

One is arguably U2's most revered song. I prefer the rawer sound on War, but I very much like Achtung Baby. I'm a huge Tom Petty fan but don't particularly love that track. My vote goes to One.
Metallica and G'n'R are easy ones. True story: I was briefly part of a band in which I sang Paradise City for a homecoming show in high school. I'm told it sounded OK. I would never ever attempt to do that now. Also, our senior class theme was Seek and Destroy. Ah, nostalgia.
Last pairing was difficult. I really like both artists. Went with the Beatles simply because it is shorter and George Harrison.

Used to close out the night with Paradise City in one of my bands. It takes everything to play it, nothing can follow.

Same with senior year and Seek. Played it at 2 of my high school's dances that year. Only song that got a bigger response was Sweet Child.

Then again, the rest of our set was stuff like Slayer and Overkill. It's possible that most of my senior class wasn't familiar with gems like "Mandatory Suicide".

I'm going to surprise myself and vote for "One".
Don't care for the Steppenwolf song, so "Nothing Else Matters".
"Anarchy in the UK" isn't a particularly good song, but at least it's short and not sung by Axl Rose.
Like most tracks on Abbey Road it works better in its album context than on its own, but "Here Comes the Sun" wins easily.

Nothing Else Matters is the most overrated song ever in my eyes. Such a snorefest.
