That old question, Beatles vs. Stones. Can't go against Beatles here. Hey Jude
I know where I am. Welcome To The Jungle
Rush bias. Tom Sawyer
Sabbath vs a weak Beatles song. Paranoid
The first is the hardest match-up in the game for me so far, because I really love both songs. But I'm on the Beatles side of that by now half-century-old dispute, so "Hey Jude".
Don't care for either in the second pair, but I'll vote GnR.
You know what they said? Well, some of it was true. "London Calling".
More Beatles bias!
Very, very few songs could top Tom Sawyer. London Calling is one of them.
Knocking vs. Hey Jude is a tough one too. Both are great and iconic, but about 2-3 minutes too long. I give the edge to the Stones. It's a tougher song, if that makes any sense.
Jungle and Paranoid are relatively easy choices for me.
If you're going to do some traveling up in the air, walking is better for you than riding in a vehicle. Stairway To Heaven
Great Aerosmith song, but GnR is too epic to be denied. November Rain
I'm on the way to the promised land. Highway To Hell
Superb Skynyrd song beats half-garbled Clash. Simple Man
Deja vu -- considered November Rain in another game this morning. It beats a better-than-expected Machine Head song in the Epics game, but doesn't get my vote here. Slash's guitar playing is awesome, but much of the song is ponderous.
Zeppelin, AC/DC are easy choices.
I love The Clash more than most on this forum, but Rock the Casbah is one of their weaker tracks. Simple Man is majestic, probably my favorite Skynyrd song.
Who, no contest. Baba O'Riley
Randy's guitar solo is miles better than Lindsay's. Crazy Train
Beatles song is very impressive, but REM is better. Losing My Religion
Bon Jovi is still undefeated in this game. Time to change that. Won't Get Fooled Again
