When did Maidenfans turn into a tabloid?
I'm absolutely sure he wrote Run the Hills lyrics. I mean, we all know Steve was a rather poor lyricist at the time (Hallowed would be the exception, but he has borrowed some lines so...). And Run to the Hills' are not those straightforward lyrics he used to deliver. I'm sure Bruce had on hand on them, and I've always thought that Steve must have been embarassed to be awarded by a native nation for that.I'm still interested what Bruce wrote on TNOTB.
So far I'm convinced that he wrote Prisoner's lyrics and RTTH's chorus melody.
I also suspect that the lyrics of Children Of The Damned were written by Bruce.
He had input on those 3 songs, which was comfirmed, but except for Prisoner's lyrics and drum intro, I don't know in what way.
Steve being responsable for all the repetition in Maiden ? I was thinking about that recently while listening to Bruce's Real World. The last minute is just unbearable. There's one bit in 'Children of the Damned' almost certainly written by Steve Harris:
Children of the damned
Children of the damned
Children of the damned
Children of the damned
The same four words
The same four words
The same four words
The same four words
Going over it in my head makes it sound like the 'Brave New World' chorus actually.
I'm sure Bruce had on hand on them, and I've always thought that Steve must have been embarassed to be awarded by a native nation for that.

He has received an award by an indian tribe's chief to thank him for the lyrics of RTTH.What do you mean by this?

Most of Virtual XI probably qualifies. I'm not sure there's even one song on there that doesn't repeat some phrase for a bit. The phrase "don't look to" literally appears something like 80 times in Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger.Agreed. Both can be repetitive at times, although I would argue that if this were a contest, Steve would be the winner with The Angel and the Gambler.
That being said, Steve has written some repetitive yet amazing chorus for many songs; many times is also a case of how the material is delivered.
I always got this feeling most of Steve's contribution is the chant at the end, since it both serves as a nice live singalong hook and an excuse to add in some keyboards, which he obviously has some strange fascination with.Well If you read some post TBOS interviews, H clearly states that Wicker Man is basically the last track that he and Bruce wrote on their own (which probably means that Steve only rearranged the track a bit, or wrote the pre-solo section).
I tend not to read interviews.Well If you read some post TBOS interviews.
But can you link to any of it? There's an interview reproduced on the Commentary from June 1992 where Bruce said he gave up the groupies after he "met someone [he] really loved" and states that this occured "eight years ago", so 1984 - it sounds like someone thought he wasn't being completely honest with that ...Reading lots of things about them. The bits about the divorce settlement, for example, were mentioned by Bruce in an interview in 1988.
Nikki Sixx was under the impression that Bruce hadn't known about this unfortunate incident until he (Sixx) published the story in a book, so either 2001 or 2007 depending on whether he means "The Dirt" or "The Heroin Diaries". Whatever drug-induced mindset he might have been in, I think he would have remembered an assassination attempt:Is she the girl that ended up with Nikki Sixx, prompting an assassination attempt by Bruce?

Is this not also a suspicion of Nikki Sixx's?although it may be backed up by the fact Tattooed Millionaire is about Nikki Sixx.
