Regarding the rumours/plans of Bruce touring next year... are there any best guesses about who's going to be in the band?

Joking aside, I imagine (hope) that Roy Z would be there. Chris Dale might play bass too, although Bruce might be using some of the musicians from the Jon Lord tribute gigs.

At the end of the day, it will depend on the number of dates. A short run like in 2002 would probably mean relying on musicians close to where Bruxit lives (is that Paris these days?), because putting a band together with people from all around the world costs a lot of money.
 
I suppose Bruce touring on his own in the US is a pipe dream. I would rather see a solo Bruce show over British Lion (as much as I respect Steve)

You never know. Gas is half the price here that it is in Europe, and Bruce did 3 significant solo tours here in the 90s. And he did a pretty extensive speaking tour here recently, which might be used to gauge solo tour interest.

I’m staying hopeful.

True, his spoken word tour did hit Atlanta eventually

My guess is: Bruce, Roy, Chris Dale and Dave Moreno.

Plus maybe another guitarist (Adrian?). Or the members from the Deep Purple tribute band? The guitarist, Tanya.

I think it's possible - I mean, he's gotten a lot of interest for his Spoken tour. But I think it will be a short tour (like 2 months) and Europe (and SA, I guess) will be enough for him.

I've just had to make a new account as no emails were coming through to my Outlook.com email address for some reason!

So, any new rumours about Bruce's solo album and/or tour?

Hopefully the album is still on track after this years Maiden tour. A November/Christmas release do we think?

Folks are really speculating what Bruce meant in their end of the tour video. Depending on what they do it's possible he could put solo album and/or tour on hold because Maiden plans change due to Nicko's health. Will see

So far, not much is known apart from Bruce's hollow promises of releasing the album soon. Considering he has been working on it since 2013, soon could be in 2027!

Some talk about a tour next year. Possibly some festivals in Europe. At the same time there is speculation that Maiden will play in Europe, Download possibly being one.

The album should also be out next year.

Thanks for the replies. So nothing firmer then, still at the rumour stage :) :)

If Bruce does tour next year, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some indoor dates too.

I wonder how much of the 2013 onward material will be on the finished album? It wouldn't surprise me if he's had to re-record stuff by now!!!

It surprised me what with the Covid delay, that in 2021 when things were a little easier, that he didn't block book a studio for a few months with Roy and just didn't leave the place until it was completely finished. It might have been easier!!! :) :)

Hopefully, October might give us some news.

He probably had to re-record or change some parts of some songs, that's the advantage of writing an album over several years. It's more difficult to write a great album in 3 months. But I think he will include songs from his first writing sessions (2013/2015). I hope he will include the song ''Nightmares'' - I really want to hear the song that Steve liked a lot. As we know, Bruce occasionally shows him his solo songs.

Btw, I expect some indoor solo shows from Bruce. He was busy with Maiden in 2021, SJ promotional stuff.
 
I hope the album will be in the vein of AOB and TCW. As a part of trilogy. In my eyes TOS is little bit weaker, not so consistent, but also good.
