Not a fan of TM or BTP, though both feature some gems, as well as some really fun bonus tracks. Skunkworks is my favorite and the three metal records are fantastic.I think we all can agree TCW is a masterpiece and the only weaker album he released was TM?
I love TOS. It's my favorite Bruce solo album. The ''metal trilogy'' is so good. I hope his new album will contain a mix of all of his styles from his previous albums (without Skunkworks, which I'm not a fan of). Even a more rock type of song like the ones on TM album (which I enjoy, but it's still his second weakest album imo. BTP has some cool stuff). For that to happen, the album has to contain more than 10 songs (I hope so).I hope the album will be in the vein of AOB and TCW. As a part of trilogy. In my eyes TOS is little bit weaker, not so consistent, but also good.
This.Tyranny is a diamond of an album. Just wished for Eternal to be present on the normal version rather than just the Japanese version. That track is an amazing closer to such a heavy and violent start.

So an album like TCW (which is a great concept). I doubt Bruce will go for a full-on album like this again (he thinks it's too perfect/difficult to ''beat'', iirc). And he already said that the album will be a series of characters and stories.I am definitely not a fan of this concept. I want consistent album, even homogeneous in some ways. With a clear vision and concept. Please, no attitude rock/metal. I crave for mystic aura and strong imagery.
All this talk about the metal years is great, but can we acknowledge that ‘Strange Death in Paradise’ is one of the most epic tracks he ever recorded.
I hope they have a monster album under their belts. Unleash the Kraken! And... and I want to see it Live!
Darker than TCW? Is it even possible? I think it will be like a fusion of TOS and AOB sound (or/plus some TCW flavor), which is heavy enough.Really hoping its darker than Tyranny and Chemical. Bruce really knows how to make a dark album.
So there will be a tour for sure. I wonder what Bruce's approach to the setlist will be. I don't expect a 20-songs set (even in the 90's he played shorter sets). Let's see - songs from the new album (probably 4 or 5), he will probably want to debut some songs from TOS (3-4 songs), a few from AOB and TCW ofc (6/7 songs from both albums), ''Tears Of The Dragon'' and maybe something from TM and SW too. Calculation: 16/17 songs set?Mr. Zerimar at it again ;-)
