I wholeheartedly agree. I also prefer Skunkworks to Tyranny of Souls.

Only ''Believil'' is a filler IMO. And the first song which basically is an intro, but a nice one and sets the atmosphere of the album quite well (like ''The Ides Of March'').

I love ''Navigate The Seas Of The Sun'' - amazing ballad and Bruce with his golden voice turns it into a beautiful jorney. If I'm not mistaken, the song is about extraterrestrial presence on Earth long ago and about man dealing with that in the future.

Devil on a Hog is quite good imo, although lots of people disagree. Soul Intruders takes a while to get but at this point it’s at least in my Bruce Top 20. That chorus is glorious.

Soul Intruders sounds like generic power metal to me. Never really liked it, although the chorus is nice.

Devil on a Hog is not bad, but still weaker than most of the stuff on the album.

I agree. ''Soul Intruders'' is great and ''Devil On A Hog'' is a nice nod to his first solo album - good rock song. The best songs in the TOS album are Abduction and Power Of The Sun... ''Kill Devil Hill'' is an amazing piece of music, but the hidden gem is ''River Of No Return''.

Devil on a hog is a great catchy song with double voices and nice riff, I agree with ghostofcain that souls intruders is like powermetal and doesn't fit very good with the rest of the album. Navigates the seas of the sun is really good with nice guitar solo and ending.
LOL maybe Tyranny of souls is a good album after all.
