British Lion 2013 Tour

That was last night, wasn't it The charity night?

Yep that was last night. Charity thing in Portugal. Next gig this Saturday in Spain! Let's see if the set remains the same! I think it will though..With such a young band...but maybe they have a few cover tunes they can alternate?

Oh. The tour poster says "Thu 21 PORTUGAL Porto Hard Club" (hence my post); but I see, from the BL website, that this was the "Moto Clube de Faro". Got ya, I think...

Looks pretty intimate; Steve just right in front of you. Looking forward to seeing, as SixesAlltheway says, if they mix it up a bit. You have to say, regardless of whether you like his style, Taylor can certainly sing.

I'm pretty surprised to see they already have 4 new songs. This is great news, as I feared they'd have to play a lot of covers.

Yes, I'm more and more excited about this. This is incredibly intimate : reminds me of this movie of the Marquee show in "12 Wasted Years". And I hope that other videos of the new songs will get posted, so I can get familiar with them before the Paris gig : I'm not particularly fond of unheard songs during shows. It happened for example in 2005 with Dream Theater, when the were opening for Maiden and played some stuff from the yet unrealeased Octavarium ; I didn't appreciate these songs, while this album is one of my favorites.

Last year I saw Michael Schenker at a venue like that.
He soloed for 90 minutes within touching distance and it was fantastic.
To see Steve Harris that close...lets just say I'm a jealous man.

Wow this stage is really small. Smallest of the tour?

Right Cried, he sounds great, and the singer seems able to deliver the same kind of performance than on the album. I realize I could get some ironic thoughts or comments from those who think he is weak, but the few who loved the album don't have to fear a bad surprise from the man live performance.

It's not really whether, as I said, you like him, or his singing. Fact is: the guy can sing fine. And, by these uploads on YouTube, etc --he sounds excellent live too. As you say harrisdevot!
