Voted, and seems I'm in general agreement with the masses. Except for Trial of the Archon (short but great) and The Martyr (deserves at least another round).

My discog has Don't Break The Circle and Barbara Ann, where are those? I like them both.

Just found out that Lord of the Rings is not (co-)written bij Olbrich. That's extremely rare, a song without a Obrich credit.

Just saw these. I can take a little bit of Gamma Ray yea. Basically anything from the first album is alright with me. :D I'm going to listen to Valhalla again (as well as the other remaining songs) after this new album for voting. Maybe it'll grow on me.

Twilight World was pretty good. I like the riffing and while the power metal sound is definitely there, it's a bit more tolerable for me than what I hear in Halloween and (to a lesser extent) Gamma Ray. My only issue is that the production is really bad on these early albums, but hopefully it'll get better soon. I could see myself getting into this band more.
 
Tales From The Twilight World is my favorite BG album. I agree with you about the production: it's not really good, probably on level with early Helloween stuff. However, I'd take this early primitive production over overproduced junk they've been releasing lately any day. It has its charm in a way.

(Even though I know all these songs already, I still wanna relisten everything before voting.)
 
I don't mind a raw production but it got annoying for really intricate parts when it was difficult to distinguish what was going on musically. I'd love to hear the same stuff with a more clear production. It's just too muddy. Really good album though yea. Huge step above the first two IMO.
 
I really don't care much about the second album. Banished is very strong but imo the rest lacks strong melodies or memorable vocal lines. I only voted for 3 Tales songs. Definitely not the best I thought. Crappy choruses especially Tommyknockers and Goodbye My Friend.
