Never Say Die
The Shining
Headless Cross
The Shining and Headless Cross are both top ten. Maybe Never Say Die too.
He's just copying me!Knickerbocker, you voted for almost or even every song from the Tony Martin-era, since the moment they came in, but may I ask: did you actually take a good listen? Never a comment, never any hint of distinguishment between any of these songs, so I feel it looks like you're just being anti, in an almost autistic manner. Your constant one-way-direction-voting did not show any appreciation/investment for at least 5 albums in the discography. Not a word, not even a bad one. Do you "simply" wish to eradicate all of these songs, to the very last one, not even caring for the very best of them?
You in turn could say I am leaning heavily towards Tony Martin era, but I also like lots of songs from other albums (quite some of them have already been eliminated but that's another story ;-). I find that there are better and worse songs with every singer. Of course my voting behaviour looks weird at times, but then I am trying to protect a few of these Martin-era tracks because I really like them and think they deserve better, plus admittedly, sometimes it was done out of protest, when I saw the zillionth round of votes going into a certain direction.
I thought you were often focused on vocalists. Why not this time, in this survivor?
I mean, maybe you are focused on vocalists but in a different way? I wonder how you would appreciate some of this era (or at least how strong the vocals and melodies are) if you would be a bit less focused on Ozzy and Dio, I mean, when you hear other Sabbath. Don't you think that your adoration for singers that you have selected as the best, overshadows any possible interest for material by other singers? It would be a shame if the best blind the rest, because you would miss a lot of (great) music.
