This is getting really hard. The time has come where I vote for the band's namesake, always a tough moment.

Black Sabbath
Snowblind
Symptom
Never Say Die
The Shining
Headless Cross

Spiral and SBS are incredible.

Eliminated:
Snowblind
Symptom of the Universe
Never Say Die

Really, people almost got Falling Off the Edge of the World eliminated? And got Symptom of the Universe and Never Say Die eliminated? :(

Black Sabbath, Spiral Architect, Sign of the Southern Cross

Mosh, 6 songs had the same amount of votes, namely 3. That situation stood since yesterday morning. Why didn't you eliminate them all and then we could have started with the top 10?

Decided to do a tiebreaker, didn't want to eliminate all those songs with such little votes.

Here's a question: Given his recent history, do I count Stardust's vote?

If it counts, The Shining, Black Sabbath, and Spiral Architect are out. If not, Falling Off the Edge of the World is out instead of The Shining.

These votes make me sad. Both my favourite Dio-era song and both favourite Martin-era songs could be eliminated (well 2 out of 3 at least) :(

I'd say it's probably best for the game if Stardust's vote/s are disregarded.

Stardust's recent history? In what way?

By the way: Bearfan also voted and never played before in this survivor. And Whooten and LC also recently joined. Mckindog was away for quite some rounds and now he is also back. These people solely jump in to support a song or era last minute. I don't think it is forbidden, but the huge difference with how everything looked in the previous round is striking.

I'd have preferred it if they had stepped in a bit later, e.g. when the top 10 starts, out of respect for the people who did all the "work" before arriving at the top 10. The top 10 is an entirely new phase, almost a clean sheet. Different amount of votes, it feels like a new match round.

He's had a tendency to vote in survivors for bands he doesn't listen to with the intention of "heating the game up". I stopped counting his votes in the Dream Theater survivor but I'm not sure if it's the same situation here.

As for the others, I don't think we have to worry about them doing the same thing. People can jump in and out as they please. I think it's unfair to want people to wait until the top ten. I'd much rather have them sit out of rounds with songs they don't know, rather than them vote without listening.

Also with the new votes since last night, if Stardust's vote doesn't count, Falling Off, Black Sabbath, and Headless Cross are out.
