Best/Worst Music of 2013

'Nabatea' and 'Waiting for the Thunder' are my personal highlights from 'Straight Out of Hell'. However, I strongly recommend you avoid 'Asshole' at all costs as it the worst Helloween song I've heard. :puke:
 
Nabatea's a ripoff of some song from Deris' solo album. Burning Sun is just about the only good song on that album, and it's still weak. Worst Helloween album if you ask me.
 
Haha, hadn't heard that song before, and I must say it's pretty terrible. Just one look at the chorus should be enough. For those that haven't heard the song, the chorus is in the spoiler below.

Incidentally, he's released 29 instalments of his Buckethead Pike Series albums in 2013. They're not really full (length) albums, more like EPs; with some only about half an hour or so. Still, 29 releases this year. Half of them are probably total crap! But, no I haven't listened to any of his 2013 releases yet, as most were on special limited release. I'll await the standard CD release(s) before thinking about purchasing any of them.
 
I doubt I'll check out the new Helloween album because the so-said strongest songs Nabatea and Waiting for the Thunder aren't that good. Nabatea is kind of good but cheesy and weird. I like the verse but not the chorus. It's sad to see how they've fallen in comparison to their amazing 90s, I love High Live so very much. I haven't dived into their newer material very much but I do like some songs, The King for a Thousand Years is epic.
