Re: WORST Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #5 Finals)

When Two Worlds Collide with the annoying Blaze vocals (This high: "The anger, the paaaain" etc is stomach cringing!) at the end, when that part goes on forever. How on earth can people like this song more than Fates Warning is beyond belief.

There's more I dislike about it, but I have to keep something for the LC topics.

Fates Warning (Love both. Great underrated songs)

Wow, I really am starting to think you're deaf. I love those lyrics.

whats with all the WTWC hate? my favorite VXI song

Re: WORST Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #5 Finals)

Both good songs. But Fates Warning is a little worse.

Re: WORST Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #5 Finals)

I have to agree with Foro: Fates Warning is a much better song.

I find it a terrible chosen melody line, and I doubt if Bruce could have done it better if he was forced to choose the same notes. It's monotone and repeats itself too much.

That's a different matter.

All the hate? One person giving some criticism on a song which is winning a battle vs Fates Warning?
There are worse things in the world my friends.

Re: WORST Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #5 Finals)

Not just that cnmment. It seems to be getting hate on other threads too

Hate is a big term, mr.

I meant I love the way it's sung, too. I know it's not a well constructed song, but I like it. I like the live version from ALAIG too.

Re: WORST Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #6)

Well that's two songs on the "worst" album now for NPftD.

Track #6 songs are up!

I'm voting for the songs from DoD this time around.

Re: WORST Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #6)

Wow. I'll have to listen to Gates of Tomorrow, The Assassin, and Wasting Love to make a decision here.

Re: WORST Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #6)

Innocent Exile for me.

I have to do the same with some songs. Gotta love the fact that Youtube has every Maiden song especially when I don't have my iPod or CD nearby.

Re: WORST Iron Maiden album by Track Position (Track #6)

Doesn't anyone feel like "Wasting Love" could have been an Alice in Chains song? It just seems like it would have been a nice ballad for a grunge band.
