I could probably, with some effort, list ten "objective" reasons why Bohemian Rhapsody is the "better" song. None of them would be anything more than a joke; with full respect to Bohemian Rhapsody and its supporters (a group that would usually include me), I gotta support Maiden.

The Number Of The Beast is a masterpiece of concision. In merely 4 and a half minutes we get a spoken intro, five verses in two different styles, three choruses and a classic scream, two guitar solos and even a bass solo. Most of the time, Iron Maiden needs at least 7 minutes to get all that done. This songs smacks you left and right with music of significant content and doesn't stop.

Crap. I voted the wrong way again. :censored: Can I change my vote to NOTB? I'd far rather Jungle had won this, but of the two remaining choices, I'd rather Bohemian won.
 
I like NOTB, but here's the thing: Maiden have much better songs. Hell, 2MTM was in this, and I much prefer that to NOTB (though to be fair, 2MTM is #5 on my favourite Maiden songs list).

I'd say the same for my pick, Sweet Child. #5 (non-Maiden) ain't bad at all.

There's no Maiden in my Classic Rock game. Looking at the non-Maiden top ten, seven of those songs are in my game. Six are in the top 100, and three songs are top 5 seeds.
