Virus fits as much to these conditions as Women In Uniform does.

I believe a poll should consist of neutral facts, the voting is the personal matter.

I wanted to put Virus, because I would vote for it too, but if I did, numerous other songs would have been included, like Jugdement Day, Justice Of The Peace... This was the perfect solution, just the songs from the album. But as I see, Perun added Virus, so I`ll add the rest of the songs mentioned above as well, as soon as I could.

Edward the Great is just a collection of the singles that reached the highest in the charts.  It is a CD to get a newbie Maiden's feet wet.  Either that or it is just for casual fans.  I bought it when I was first into Maiden when I had no idea what it was.  I'd never buy it now.  And I still can't vote on this thread.  It is damn impossible!

The hardest thing I've ever done (probably)  My first attempt ended in frustrated failure but I've now bit the bullet and made my choice.  Ask me in 5 minutes and it's probably changed

My vote goes to Brighter Than a Thousand Suns. Lyrically I think it's maiden's best and Bruce's vocals are at top form, especially in the chorus. The riffing and solos are amazing and the song maintains a constant energy for nearly 9 minutes.
