Never agreed with that nonsense. There couldn't be a more stand alone song with its own independent message in the whole catalogue. It even came out in a year when no albums were released.

In this poll it wasn't featured. In this one it was.

Both time the winner was: Alexander the Great.

This time I predict: Either Isle of Avalon, either Starblind.


But this is no matter-of-life-and-death game.  :)

Well, it's not a b-side, therefore I think it should be in this poll :) I don't like it very much, so it's not that I put it because I like it :)

I think that the top 5 will be Starblind, Avalon, Alexander, Thin Line and Mother Russia.

Would be cool but it might loose from Only the Good Die Young. Both superb songs.

I think Nomad and the Duellists will stick around a long while too. I think both are better than Alex. I would be shocked if Avalon, Starblind and Alex were not the top 3 though.

I don't get all the hate for The Apparition. Yes it belongs to bleaker bunch on a bleak album, but it's not so bad, considering that it's quite different from their songcraft scheme, heavy and has a good instrumental section. There are far, far worse numbers on this list.

I don't get the hate for FOTD neither.

It's an average album, with only 3 bad & 1 below average songs, the rest just kicks ass. :edmetal:

Better than both NPFTD & VXI, IMO.

This is a great game, thanks for hosting. I think Nomad is going to stick around, but lord I hate that song. I'm with Forostar and think IOA/Starblind might be tops, along with Alexander.

I just wish there was more love for DoD songs on this - I'd love to hear Age of Innocence or Gates of Tomorrow live. Heck, I'd even pay to hear Wildest Dreams.
