I'm not in love with anyone in this group, to be honest, but I guess I'll go with Åkerfeldt. I'm not a fan of harsh vocals at all, but I enjoy his singing.

Mikael is, of course, the best vocalist here, mostly because of his mastery of both clean and harsh vocals.

King Diamond is 2nd best. I don't find his style goofy at all. He can still pull off all the screams from the 80's which is really impressive. His mid-range isn't anything special though.

Chuck was a good vocalist mostly because he evolved over the course of his career from low grunts to high pitched screams without losing his touch.

Never rated Hagar.

I'll be fair and listen to all 4 videos before voting, but let's be real, there's only one way this can go.

Dio is my favorite singer here, but I won't vote for him because he'll win in a landslide anyway. Can't really decide between Gahan and Townsend at the moment. Gahan has my favorite timbre in a singer, while Townsend is an immensely talented and powerful performer.

I personally can't see this remaining as the definitive group of death of the tournament, but we'll see.
