Which is why Deceiver Of The Gods joins the game in this round!
Last 4 songs are from a bonus CD called "Under The Influence".
They are tributes to Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Motörhead and AC/DC, respectively.

Deceiver Of The Gods is an incredibly disappointing album. None of the songs are really bad, but none are great either. It's painfully average in every way. Lacks epicness, tries too hard to be melodic/heavy metallish and catchy. Pretty much every song from Versus, Oden and Twilight is better than the best song on this album (title track)...

I enjoy the second, the third and the last two tracks (before the bonus starts). The middle is weaker and the opening track is again a Slayeresque song. They always open with that and it gets predictable.

My favorites are title track (even though it's too much by-the-book), ending of Under Siege, Hel (@Forostar: Messiah Marcolin guest vocals :)), and last two, with Coming Of The Tide being my 2nd favorite. Also Satan Rising is pretty cool for what it is. This is still the AA album I listened to the least, so I'll spin it more before voting.

Asator, Free Will, Slaves of Fear
Loke, Shape Shifter, We Shall Destory, Hel
All of the terrible cover-not-cover songs.

It is a rather mediocre affair as a whole. There's some cool stuff, but not much to remember.

Last two tracks are the only really good songs on the album, IMO.

I don't mind Deceiver at all, but it fails to come up with anything distinctly stand-out. It's quite standard Amon Amarth, which is great, but overshadowed by some of the previous albums. I'll keep Father of the Wolf, and As Loke Falls, which I think worked especially well live, but I'm not so sure about the rest. Will have another listen through. It was getting difficult to pick between the remaining songs in the previous round.
