Amazing power ballads by lesser known bands

This project is the brainchild of Nuno Bettencourt, someone who I wouldn't call lesser known (he had some hits with Extreme and is currently playing guitar for Rhianna), but this project is definitely under the radar. For those who know Extreme, this isn't anything like that stuff and his solo projects tend to lean more toward alt rock. Good stuff though
 
Looking back, The Middle of Nowhere by Circle II Circle (a post-Savatage band) was probably the best metal album of 2005.

 
This singer in question -Rob Halford- is very, very, VERY known, but I feel that his Fight work isn't, especially not the second album. Its last song is among the best album closers he ever recorded and it happens to be a beautiful, haunting ballad.
 
Yes, I know this band is very popular, but a lot of people on here may not have heard this song since it's only on the re-issue of the album Painkiller.
