Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

That's the 8431 prototype, also known as #1 prototype. It's matte white, instead of gloss white and the original neck lacked the signature headstock. The original neck was purposely broken in Freiburg by Adrian in 2018. It currently has a production neck.

#2 prototype is gloss white and has the chipped pickguard.

Both were used as #1 drop-D guitars in different parts of the tour last year. And they are both still on tour.
Thanks for the reply! The second prototype of the 8432 was the one stolen on Greece according to what I read here. But did Adrian get another prototype after the theft? Or the production model with the JB in bridge from TBOS era could count as the replacement for the stolen guitar?

Yes. The the 2nd prototype of AS ebony/white guard Jackson was stolen. Usually the first guitars are custom shop prototypes and 2nd prototypes are production prototypes. After that, the guitar goes into production.

So in short, I think #2 ebony/white guard Jackson was replaced by production guitars. Which are likely completely same, since #2 prototypes are production samples.

Hey @matic22 I was watching this gig from the Virtual XI tour and realized something very interesting…

Remember that some pages ago we discussed about Dave’s cream Strats from Raising Hell? I remember that you mentioned that there was a speculation of a third cream Strat, and I think that it in fact existed, because while I was watching this gig I saw that Dave used the following guitars:

- Cream Strat with black humbucker in neck, black single coil in the middle and zebra humbucker in bridge (the one that was 3-tone sunburst in FOTD iirc) (see Futureal for example)

- Cream Strat with white pickguard and hot rails (the one that was blue in FOTD) (see Heaven Can Wait)

- Another cream Strat with black pickguard, black hardware, Floyd, zebra humbuckers in neck and bridge positions and white single coil in the middle (see Hallowed Be Thy Name) (probably a new Strat, the possible third cream Strat)

AFAIK the 3-tone sunburst Strat (which was painted to cream in 1993) had zebra DiMarzio humbuckers originally and a white single coil in the middle, before TXF the middle pickup was painted black and neck and bridge pickups were replaced by full black Seymour Duncan humbuckers, and during Virtual XI bridge pickup was replaced with a zebra humbucker. The blue Strat, that was painted to cream by the same time, had black SD humbuckers and a white single coil in middle, during TXF it got a white pickguard with hot rails. What confuses me as hell is that cream Strat that has zebra humbuckers and a white single coil, probably that’s the third cream Strat that you were speculating about, because it doesn’t make sense that it is the ex-sunburst Strat (since that one had a black single coil in the middle by that time), so who knows…

Are those 3 seen in the same show?

Also, can you post photos of those 3?

Yeah, those 3 can be seen in the show, here are the pictures (sorry for the shitty quality) I tried to show parts from the video where all pickups can be seen to make the thing easier.

I think I found a picture of Adrian's second prototype of the maple neck/black pickguard Jackson, I took a screenshot from the Wacken 2023 show, AFAIK this one has a chipped pickguard and a "clearer" white, the first prototype has a yellowish white iirc.

Yes, here’s a video of the SBIT 2nd leg from IMTV, Adrian shows his guitars and his setup, including the guitar that was stolen.
Yup. The 2nd guitar he shows, is the stolen one. That's the 2nd prototype.

Also the 2008 tour was the last tour, where H carried 5 guitars or less. During 2009, it was 4 signature Jacksons, #1 Strat, LP Goldtop, SG and the Jackson double neck.
