Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

This is from 2006, guitar.com. The yamaha midi system was definitely used together with one of his sunburst strats (equipped with a Roland GK-3 pickup) on Brighter Than a Thousand Suns and The Legacy (guitar synth).

Edit: Not on The Legacy.
The Yamaha isn't a MIDI synth. Just a controller for the rack units. For synth sound Adrian used a Roland synth.

Legacy was played on SG in drop D. Everything in 2006 that was in drop D was played with the SG. In 2007, the cream strat returned for RTTH and IM.

Also, there were never 2 SGs as the drawing states.

Interestingly enough, H played Reincarnatiom Of Benjamin Breeg on the SG, but in standard tuning. That was revealed in 2010 where it was written on the setlist that Reincarnation is in standard tuning (on that tour he used the SG (first part) and the Les Paul (second part).
Which one, the Holy Goldtop?

So with that in mind, the guitars used for AMOLAD tour were:

- #1 sunburst Strat (standard tuning)
- #2 sunburst Strat (standard tuning)
- Brown SG, peace sticker added during the tour (tuned in drop D)
- Cream HSS Strat with Schaller Floyd Rose (tuned in drop D)
- Jackson 12/6 Double-neck (COTD 2007)

AFAIK the SG was used for TROBB, Legacy, FOTD, IM (2006 only) and TNOTB (2007 only), that’s all I know about it.

Yes... During 2010 H only used the Holy Goldtop on El Dorado at the beginning of the tour, but after a while it slowly begun being used on other songs. It completely replaced the SG at the end of the tour.

It was used on:
El Dorado (STD)
The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg (STD)
FOTD (Drop D)
Iron Maiden (Drop D)
TNOTB (Drop D)
HBTN (STD)
Running Free (STD)

Thanks for the reply mate!

In the Aalborg 2006 live performance of Different World (Lick Library published this) - does anyone have any idea of what the modulation effect on Adrian's solo is? This particular recording of the solo has always been downright one of H's best 'sounding' in terms of his tone (in my opinion) - and it's something to do with the chorus-y/flange-y tone he has mixed in with the wah, giving this amazing tone which I can't quite pin down.
It's especially noticeable in the ringing out strings at 2:42 right before he starts the tapping, as well as any of the notes he holds for longer than a half second or so..

I've tried to re-create it and the closest I could get was by running a chorus on slow rate, depth high, and in front of all overdrive rather than in the loop.

Solo from 2:34 - 2:53

I'd say some chorusing. Also his 2007 sound was quite thin with Marshall 30th Anniversary heads and Strats. When he switched to JCM2000's in 2008 the sound got much bigger.

Speaking of effects and stuff like that, does anyone know what MIDI foot controller is H using currently, is he still using the Yamaha MFC 10 (AFAIK used from 2006 to 2011) or did he switch to another MIDI foot controller?

Yes - Adrian is currently using (as of the final leg of TFP tour) the Voodoo Labs Ground Control Pro - as far as I know it has been used since TBOS tour (Adrian's rack now utilizing the GCX switcher as well as midi control for various effects units (has since added Line 6 HX effects probably for delays etc) as well as the JVM410 heads. - below is a screenshot from one of their instagram clips at the start of the last leg (setting up in Perth, Australia)

That's right and the Voodo Lab switcher is doubled. There is another slave switcher on his rack that is controlled by Sean (Adrian rarely switches effects these days). Same with Dave and Fractal FC-6 II.
