Next time, I think we need to look at a major point of entry on Europe for the European meetup - Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Paris, etc. Those places are much cheaper for us to get to.

I'm currently stalking Wiz and Foro on Flightradar24.com ... Foro just about to cross the Dutch coast and head across the North SEa. Wiz is approaching the Skagerrak (the part of the North Sea between Norway and Denmark).

In terms of distance to my hometown - Bucharest.
In terms of accessibility - Berlin. I was there on the gig day. Why I didn't go to the gig is a long story.

Usually boils down to time or money. Too much of one and not enough of the other. Hopefully you will be able to catch Bucharest at end of July.

You're right! Airfare to Romania is half the cost of airfare to Oslo!

This has been a great year for Maidenfans meetups!

After a shockingly early start (bearing in mind we were at a Maiden show last night!), I'm back home. Had a great day/evening yesterday with Wingman, Black Wizard, Forostar, National Acrobat and Shadow. After a bit of barging and jostling I think we all got decent spots to see Maiden - that's the closest I've got to them yet, saw most of the solos really well. That was also my first indoor maiden show. Oslo was lovely (if expensive), well worth the trip!
