As far as i remember (correct me if i'm missing someone, didn't see all the games), Ronaldo is the only "star" completely out of the World Cup, so far.

I'm supporting Germany, and I wasn't pleased with that incident. Pepe should have gone off, as once he stuck his head into Muller's, that was going to the only outcome. He was rightly outraged by Muller's playacting though, and the ref should have yellow carded him for trying to get Pepe sent off. However, I think Germany were well on top before that incident, and almost certainly would have went on to win anyway. But as a spectacle. the game was marred and spoiled by that incident. Which is a shame.

The upcoming games do not feature a big team but I have high hopes for the USA-Ghana game.

Portugal will lose Pepe and Fábio Coentrão. Ronaldo is dreaming going elsewhere, so i don't know, maybe there's a bigger chance for the other teams.

Summary of Germany vs Portugal:

- Germany better from the first minute. Portugal didn't seem to have any other plan than "give it to Ronaldo and see what happens".
- The penalty was correct. The ref should have booked half the Portuguese team for surrounding him. I hate when teams do that and I think the referee should book more players for it.
- Pepe is an idiot, but he was justified in reacting when Müller did a "Busquets" there. Didn't expect that from him. Pepe's reaction was expected though, and a red card probably warranted (although I would have only given a yellow - it was twattish, but not violent).
- Germany will do well in this tournament. They seemed to have a plan in everything they did, and they were clinical for most of the time.

While Müller did do a Busquets, he was hit in the face. There was absolutely no reason for Pepe to react like that.
