2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil

Argentina managed to be even more boring than Spain and Greece and managed to make a guy who never gets sleepy during games get sleepy.
 
Bosnia were very unlucky. :( They deserved to get at least a draw out of the game. Argentina played a little better in the 2nd half, but they couldn't have got any worse than they were in the first! Bosnia did themselves proud. Argentina are going to have to start playing a lot better if they're going to lift the trophy.
 
I think Bosnia will beat Nigeria and go through to the next round. Nigeria always have a talented squad but they are wasteful in front of goal and weak in defence. They did just concede two goals to Scotland after all (and Scotland had two perfectly good goals disallowed).

Didn't realise I missed a match on Saturday, which it turned out, was on at half one in the morning (Japan vs Ivory Coast), which probably accounts for why I missed it. :p So I watched it on ITV player earlier, and like just about every match in the tournament so far, it was a good game. Ivory Coast won 2-1, which I think was the right result, as Ivory Coast did just enough to deserve the win. :)

Germany vs Portugal coming up in a few minutes. Should be a great game. Hope Germany win!
 
Germany are in general a much more complete side than Portugal. Portugal have a few good players scattered about, but the Germans have good players around the board.

Hoping for a good performance from Goetze. He's striking along with Messi for me in Fantasy Football.
 
I really dislike the Portugal team indeed. Not per se for what happened two years ago. Rather for some older matches.

Still I am kind of neutral. May the best win!

Yeh, Portugal have looked quite dangerous coming forward, sometimes; but Germany firmly in control here, with their two goals after only half an hour. Merkel looked pleased.
 
The Portuguese shitstorm has started. It's good that ze Germans are ahead, because from now on the Portuguese are going to irritate more.
Let's see how this continues.
 
Pepe was first right and then he lost it. Can't understand him.

Germans can be good actors too.
 
Hmmm, the play-acting by the Germans is pretty embarrassing. I don't want to see teams win or gain an advantage with that kind of nonsense. It's doubly annoying as their two up anyway. Why all the face holding after minimal contact? Totally unnecessary.
