News 18th Studio Album discussion

Isn`t it locked faraday pouches for the Paris gig so not a single phone in theory. Should be the best gig of the tour if that`s the case ,as far as the crowd goes anyway.

That is a great idea that should be used more often. In 2023 I went to the "Cut & Run" Banksy official exhibition in Glasgow that used Faraday pouches and it made the experience 100 times better.

But i think we will not see the vibe of old shows. As we have said before people and shows have changed. But i think that will be a good experience and maybe in the future we will nehave like this. I dont record anymore because i dont watch the videos after.

I was at Blaze show 3 days ago and no one used smartphone. Big shows are different I guess, people want to tell the world they were there.

Can we get Steve a stress counselor? The last new music came out in 2019. If they had written one song a year, we’d already have about 60% of an album.
He is looking pretty relaxed this week...

Kevin visited Nicko's RARR (idk if that's rare)... hopefully another reason is to discuss when he will record his parts to participate in a couple of songs on a new album. Early 2027 before Bruce's tour?

Aparently we are not going to see maiden inducted again and oasis lol. Liam gallagher is on the same side with maiden about RRHOF lol

7 artists will be inducted for sure, some chances, as the only heavy music here. I think they might have inducted them with the Music Excellence Award. If they don't wanna induct Maiden, so why did they nominate them for the third time at all?

Maiden will get in the same way as priest did. Priest never won a fan poll and got in through the back door with some made up musical excellence thingy.

TRRHOF needs bands like Maiden if they want to appear even semi credible. They know they have millions of fans worldwide and if all of them voted every day they would blow the likes of Phil Collins out of the water but they know the band and their fans have slagged of the HOF so likely most fans aren’t arsed to bother voting.

I think the whole thing is utter bollox myself but I’m more at peace with Maiden accepting any induction now, despite past comments, if it happens knowing they’ve finally included blaze.

True.

Bad counterexample. Phil Collins was a melodic genius and multi-instrumentalist who absolutely owned the 1980s as both a solo artist and a member of a seminal rock band. Inducting him into the Rock Hall is equally important from a credibility perspective.

Eddie Trunk suggests something similar to you and points to Blaze Bayley's addition to the band's nominated members. I'm starting to think Maiden's induction (even via Musical Excellence Award) is possible as never before.

Would be cool to see them all playing a few songs. But also i can see bruce speech going wrong

I spent ages (ages is a fortnight now btw) searching for a comment from this forum but finally realised it was in YouTube (Chile 01 the tres amigos about cameras attached to their guitars), so modified version:

Tres amigos when asked about one more studio album:

Dave: politely explains why he can't do it
Adrian: Umm... *turns and walks away*
Jan: "fk it I'll do it

In all seriousness, I still believe they dedicate good third of 2027 for the final album
