It’s déjà vu all over again!"I'm pretty busy in '27. And I think everybody's gonna be very happy with what I'm busy with —in every sense of the word."
I’m sure Big Tone is already mixing it.Btw, in 2027 the live dvd and cd would be out too?
Who is big tone the guy who produced nights of the dead?I’m sure Big Tone is already mixing it.
The very same!Who is big tone the guy who produced nights of the dead?
Haha I should have known this news wouldn't get past you guys
The very same!
They call him ‘Big Tone’ not just because this name is Tony. It’s also because of his outstanding attention to detail with the overall sound (or tone) of the albums he works on.
Steve's doesn't think Bruce's solo approach is ''fitting'' for Maiden (unlike TM for the early 90s era of the band). Which is true, but why not for one or two songs. He writes some heavy riffs (Parchment is a good example, if only the production was better), but he puts the melody first. Maybe this time he could be inspired by Bruce's new heavy material since he calls it his best (I'd love to hear that on one of his expected few solo credits again, or maybe by the 80s material; like a spark for him for new material), definitely the acoustic/folky stuff. And he probably knows Bruce will write something a little different in feel with Adrian. AOB is close to Maiden, but it's not the melodic kingdom of Maiden. Something heavy like Brighter Than A Thousand Suns again, why not. Eternity too. And with a different drummer/style.The question is, why did Steve ignored Bruce's Accident of Birth, which he himself has said is a very strong album? Why does he choose to be influenced not by the best, but simply for the sake of change?
He has also said that Bruce's upcoming album is his best solo work ever. So will he use that as a reference point for the next Maiden album, or will he once again choose The Mandrake Project as the reference point?
