I've seen bands tune down to give the singer an easier time. Some it works for (Metallica), some it sounds like a horrible mess (Megadeth).
I'm not too bothered by the change live. I think most casual listeners wouldn't even notice a half step difference in a live situation.

I've been listening to the 2015 remasters on Amazon and I think they sound great, particularly FOTD & TXF. I have release era CD's of those and was really impressed how much better the remasters sound.

I think it sounds really good, love the guitar sounds and Nicko's drums seem really clear, which I like. Bruce sounds immense on some songs (Book of Souls, Trooper spring to mind) but he does sound strained/out of breath in the high registers here and there.

I went Saturday and thought it was fantastic. Only negative I have is that Daveys solos seemed quieter than the others from where I was standing.
Definitely agree with the view that 'The Red And The Black' works a lot better live than on the album. It flew by on Saturday!
