I'm pretty sure that one is really him.

    If Bruce never left...

I think they needed the reunion to accomplish what they have in the past 14 years. I'm not sure how Adrian would have ended up back in the fold without the Bruce split though.

Best CD versions of Iron Maiden albums.

I haven't listened to the older CD's in while, but I do remember the remasters sounding punchier to me. Of course I'm sure that's due to compression. One thing I hate is how the intro to that track Powerslave is at the end of Back in the Village, I never understood that.

    New Album 2014

Roy Z hinted on his personal facebook that he's working with Bruce on some new material. He posted a picture of him and Bruce, I asked him him if they're writing new music together and he "liked" my comment. He's made other hints elsewhere as well.

    If Bruce never left...

I was just wondering what people think may have happened if Bruce didn't leave in 93. A. Maiden continue to sell millions of records and play large venues like they did then and from 2000 on. B. The 90's catch up with them and they downsize their productions anyway much like the Blaze era...

Iron Maiden Autumn 1979 studio recordings

Yea I don't know why, but for some reason I thought the guy in the above clip went on to do more for Maiden than just be a fan. I have no idea why I connected the two.

Iron Maiden Autumn 1979 studio recordings

For some reason I feel like I've seen this acknowledged somewhere, although I can't remember where. And it looks like the same guy, I was wondering if anyone else knew what I was talking about.

Iron Maiden Autumn 1979 studio recordings

Answer me this, the guy (teenager) with the long curly hair talking in the B&W footage outside and early gig saying how Maiden is a life style and he's be rich if he had a dime for ever Maiden show he's been to. Is that the same guy that designs their stages later on? at least as of the Death...

Iron Maiden Autumn 1979 studio recordings

So we know for sure Parsons played on Metal For Muthas is what you're saying?

Iron Maiden Autumn 1979 studio recordings

Parsons had to have been on that Friday Night Rock Show recording because as far as I know the bands used to go in, set up, and play live in the studio. So it's not like Dave Murray could have added over dubs after, and it's not likely.

Still confused on what whole cheese thing was about.

So Bruce sold most of the cheese to Adrian?

    Steve 'Loopy' Newhouse's blog

I don't have a theory on it at all. All of the evidence and stories in this thread make it difficult to argue against it being Paul Cairns.

Everyone seems to think there's a second guitar player on that recording, and no one is making any argument of it being anyone other than Paul Cairns that I can see.

Every one pretty much agrees that there was a second guitar player on TST. No one rally knows for a fact who it is, so IMO it might as well be Paul Cairns. Especially if he claims to have written Strange World, the in itself could have created the politics to not mention him, for whatever reason.

You might as well have "Hooks in You" in there to round out the Charlotte saga.

I'm looking through all of the thank yous from the cover of the 2 disc version or Best of the Beast realesed in 1996. These are the thank yous that seem to coincide with all of the former members at the time: Paul Day Dave Sullivan Terry Rance Ron Matthews Bib Sawyer Dennis Wilcock Tony Moore...

    Steve 'Loopy' Newhouse's blog

Underneath it's listed left to right with Di'Anno listed at the far left. You're right though, the only 2 I can really make out are Steve and Doug and the both also happened to be in Smiler.
