100%. Despite the obvious cynicism most rock fans have regarding the Hall, it is the one bonafide event that leads to former members of bands of yore actually reuniting and performing (the Judas Priest induction for example, the only time we will see them with KK and Les Binks). I am also...
Hell freezes over. Iron Maiden are finally in.
"Iron Maiden are entering the Hall of Fame after three nominations. “We’d like to thank the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for including us (and former members who were all part of our story) in the 2026 roll call of inductees,” Iron Maiden manager Rod...
It finally happened. Iron Maiden is in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Up the Irons.

Any FC member who would not be using their presale code, would you mind kindly sharing it via DM? I will be very, very grateful. Planning to attend the Philly show! :)
Mosh, you are literally doing God’s work. All I wanted from this thread were the chart positions and all that info is now buried in a sea of Nightwish love/hate/origin story.
To reiterate my comments on the album rumors thread, less metal and more classic rock. Would fit great in a Dio-era Rainbow album, right next to 16th Century Greensleeves. That solo by H was immense. Love the production too, very organic.
Official news item from the website. The video is very much Bruce's baby. But no mention of the new album...hmmm.

Out on Spotify/Apple Music, all other digital platforms too. Reminded me of a Rainbow track from the Dio era, maybe something like 16th Century Greensleeves. Overall, very impressed and excited!
I am surprised actually that no one else has mentioned the badass riff in Lord of Light that comes in after the quiet part (Around 01:39 if I remember correctly). Pure magic and elevates the song to another level.
1) The “I’ve got to keep running..” part in Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner. Bruce sounds so desperate, and the music just builds and builds before exploding into the solo.
2) This one is more obvious, but the little bass solo after Adrian’s solo in Number of the Beast is my favorite...
Maybe slightly off-topic, but it was interesting to read that Bruce has used his experience of fighting cancer in helping Dave Mustaine. Also, Bruce did struggle with his voice for a while after his treatment, before coming back even stronger. This is the first-ever interview ever since...
Since people have been posting about celebrity musicians attending Maiden shows, Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger of Halestorm also attended the Nashville show. Saw them while getting out and said a quick thanks to them for their great show at Knoxville earlier this month (They opened for Alice...
Quite an interesting read. Hadn't heard the details of his audition for Iron Maiden before. Doogie seems like a very nice guy!

Thought this was a big enough news for a separate thread. Hopefully HBTN will be restored back to the setlist on the upcoming tour.
