Yes, but the original post was about having no live albums with "the new drum sound". The BDC kit is not featured on LOTB 2018-2019 and is therefore not on Nights of the Dead. A hypothetical LOTB 2022 live album would contain "the new drum sound", since Nicko switched to BDC before the LOTB 2022...

No, Nicko used a BDC kit on LOTB 2022, I think the original post was referring to a lack of live album from that tour

Yeah, I guess that could be it, but it's executed very cleanly which makes it hard to tell one way or the other. Usually when the band makes mistakes like that, there's a little bit more disarray.

I dunno, sounds pretty intentional to me based on these recordings from San Antonio and Dallas- the entire band stops early and lets the last note ring out in unison while Bruce finishes his lines. If it was just Nicko making a mistake, how come they're ALL doing it?

No it wasn't. The entire band played it this way consistently until it was dropped a few shows in. If it was a mistake on Nicko's part, how come Steve and all three guitarists happened to make the exact same "mistake" at the same time?

The original post I quoted was someone literally comparing the situation with Nicko to the situation with Blaze leaving the band in 1998 and saying they were the same.

Because he's older, singing a lot of very lyrically dense songs they haven't played for a long time (or ever), and has (I believe) two replacement hips now.
